Arusha is one of the bigger cities in Tanzania in the north of it. Arusha is situated by the foot of Mt. Meru, which is close to its border with Kenya. City of Arusha is famous as a center for African congress. Arusha Tanzania is geographically located in the Great Rift Valley amongst the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Olduvai Gorge, Serengeti Plain, Mount Kilimanjaro National Park and Tarangire National Park. This city is based on a plateau. On July 1, 2006, Arusha was declared a city. The temperature in Arusha ranges from 14.1 degrees Celsius to 30.35 degrees yearly. Dry air plays important role in Arusha for its altitude. A strong eastern wind blows towards the city of Arusha from the Indian Ocean.

Sekei in the North-West, Central Business Area by the Clocktower, Tengeru and Njiro are important of all districts of Asrusha. Vibrant mightlife, lively market and vivid tourism are specialties of those, though not all, districts. There is a village named Longido in the North of Arusha. Safari tours to Tarangire, Serengeti, Manyara and Ngoronogoro generally set forth in Arusha. One can visit the Arusha National Park from the city. Lake water, birds, highland forest and summit of Mount Meru can be easily viewed from there. Kilimanjaro International Airport serves Arusha the most for international travelers.
