Being the sole airline support in Tajikistan, the
Tajikistan Airlines have recently revamped itself and altered its name to ‘
Tajik Airlines’. In fact, the Tajik Airlines is referred to as the national airline of the republic of Tajikistan. Being founded on 3rd September in the year 1924, the Tajik Airlines have undergone numerous changes that have made it technically sound as well as easily accessible to the common masses.
Presently,
Airlines of Tajikistan executes all its domestic flights along with the coveted International flights from the airport based at the venue Dushanbe.
The airlines of Tajikistan embarked upon its maiden air voyage from the destination of Bukhara to Dushanbe. It was a ‘Junker F. 13’ airplane that was used to serve this purpose. Owing to the intense enmity with its contemporaries, the Tajik Airlines had lost its recognition and charm in the later half of 2006. The unprecedented deregulation of the Tajikistan Aviation Sector also had a major role to play in its downfall.
However, with much needed assistance from the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, the
Tajik Airways succeeded in retrieving back at least some of its faded glory and charisma. The
Tajikistan airplanes also upgraded their aircraft artillery by adding planes like the ‘Boeing 737’ and ‘Airbus A320’.
