Tajikistan weather reflects a climatic pattern that is typical to a country which is partially arid, continental as well as subtropical. The land of Tajikistan is provided with a topography having much of the desert areas. So, the weather is obviously towards the extremities.
Depending upon the elevation there may be a sharp change in the pattern of the weather in Tajikistan. The hilly domains are often found to shield the lowland areas of the region especially the areas like the Fergana Valley. Temperature in Tajikistan
If you go to the lowlands of the subtropical areas in the southwest, you will find that it is very hot. The weather is arid. Nowadays, there are areas which have been extensively irrigated for the sake of cultivation.
If you go to the lower elevations of Tajikistan in the month of July, you can have the average temperature between 23° to 30° C and if you visit in the month of January, it may be -1° to 3°C. When you go to the eastern parts of the Pamirs in the month of July, you will find an average temperature of 5° to 10°C, while in the month of January you may get a temperature between -15° to -20°C.
Precipitation in Tajikistan
On an average the Tajikistan weather will reveal a precipitation pattern for almost all the republics between 700 and 1,600 millimeters. The maximum rainfalls are at the Fedchenko Glacier. And the least in the eastern Pamirs. You will get the maximum rainfall, if you go there in the months of the winter and the spring.
