Tajikistan Economy

Tajikistan economy largely depends on agriculture and animal husbandry. In this context, it can be said that about 2/3rd of the population in Tajikistan is poor; therefore, most of the people of Tajikistan dislocate to Russia in search of an employment.

Initially the economy of Tajikistan constituted of mining and raw-materials processing. But with the economic collapse of the 1990s (the termination of the Soviet rule and beginning of the Civil War), these aspects of the economy in Tajikistan came to a stand still.

Tajikistan Agriculture

Talking about the economy of Tajikistan, it can be said that in Tajikistan, the low lands specialize in the cultivation of some crops, which are as follows:
