National of Taiwan are looking forward to celebrate Taiwan Independence Day. Taiwan wants to have a democratic republic of Taiwan, and free itself from the administration of the republic of China. Being a part of China,
Taiwan is dependent on the judgments of Chinese government in all major aspects. Taiwan, thus wants separate identities as a complete secular state that decides for their own up-rises in terms of social, economical and political developments.

Independence of Taiwan is a political movement that has been both supported and opposed by different ruling parties over the years. The independence movement of Taiwan is being supported by the Pan-Green parties whereas opposed to great extents by the Pan-Blue Coalition.

The future of Taiwan independence movement can be devastating and initiate a long lasting divergence between not only Taiwan and China, but also among them who would some how or other participate in this freedom movements, such as the countries like United Sates and Japan.

Taiwan has a long historical background of colonialism. Taiwan had to fight against several colonial imperials since 1600 centuries. Started with Dutch, then it was Ming, and Qing dynasties followed by Japanese took over, Taiwan has been through one of the longest history of foreign rulings. Thus Taiwan is fighting for their right of independence since centuries.

The People of Taiwan has been into partial and years long fighting for democratic survivals over the periods, and still longs for the brightest day of their lives when they would ultimately celebrate the Taiwan Independence Day.
