The Typhoon Taiwan generally originates in the Pacific Ocean. The Typhoon Taiwan comprises frequent gusts of wind that blows in high speed that reaches up to 225 kilometers per hour. The typhoons in Taiwan cause maximum damage and injuries to the people in Taiwan. Large numbers of deaths are caused by the Typhoon Taiwan. The schools and colleges in Taiwan remain closed during the times of typhoons in Taiwan. People living in certain areas are shifted to safer zones during the typhoons in Taiwan. The major flights and trains are canceled during the time of Typhoon Taiwan. The transportation is hampered by during this time due to uprooted trees and damages all round.

There are various forms of Typhoons in Taiwan. Some of them are the following:

  • Typhoon Matsa: it hit Taiwan in the year 2005 and caused heavy damage to the crop fields. It also resulted in flood in the region.

  • Typhoon Nina: it hit Taiwan in the year 1975 and caused landslides and flood in the region.

  • Typhoon Omar: Taiwan faced this typhoon in the year 1992. It caused major economic loses and injuries in the region.

  • Typhoon Talim: many people were killed in Taiwan when the typhoon Talim hit Taiwan. After Taiwan, the typhoon made its way to china. It has last hit Taiwan in the year 2005.
