In the
Republican Government of Syria the
Syria President is the head of the
State of Syria. The
Syria President is directly elected after every seven years. The
Syrian Constitution of 1973 authorizes the
Syria President to appoint all the
Vice-presidents, the
Prime minister, and the
Council of ministers. The
Syria President is also designated as the
Secretary general of the Baath Party and also the
Chief of the armed forces of Syria. Syria Government has been headed by a number of
