Wengen, Switzerland in the Bernese Oberland is a perfect example of a picturesque Swiss countryside. This chalet style village has a very active crowd of Ski lovers up till April. It is only after that, when the snow starts melting, that the village goes back to its original slumber. However, even after the snow it remains one of the most favorite locations for trekkers and is loved for its insurmountable valley sun set which remains a treat for the eyes.
Wengen, Switzerland is located in Central Switzerland and the nearest International Airport is that of Zürich. The distance of 190 Km between the two places can be covered either by train or by road. It is also accessible by Cable cars from Lauterbrunnen.
