Vevey Switzerland

Vevey is a small Swiss town located on the north shore of Geneva lake . The historic name of this Vevey town was Vivicus. The ancient Greek philosopher Ptolemy named it Ouikos. The town is mainly French-speaking. The western part of the town is bordered by the Veveyse River whereas the eastern part of it is bordered by th e Oyonnaz River. The headquarter of Nestle was established over here in 1867.
