The northern enclave includes Avenches surrounded by Fribourg and Lake Neuchâtel. Rest of the two enclaves is formed by Geneva and wide Alpine ranges. The southeastern mountains encompass the Swiss Alps with the highest peaks of Diablerets Glacier with an altitude of 3,210m. An ideal place for sports activities, Vaud, Switzerland has many skiing zones such as Villars, Les Diablerets and Leysin. The canton of Vaud, Switzerland constitutes of mostly moraines and hillocks.
