Apetina is a small city of Suriname surrounded by Pontoetoe and Agossa in the West, Granbori in the North, Malaitawa in the East and Hoofdkamp in the South. The latitude of Apetina is 3.5000 N and the Longitude of the city is 55.0667 W and the altitude is 465 ft. Apetina comes under the UTC-3 time zone.
Located in the South Eastern area of Suriname Apetina is a very calm and serene place. Since it is placed on the small hills along the river Tapanahoni the scenic beauty of the place is so mesmerizing that you would hate to live the place. Not only that its location amidst of a jungle evoke a sense of awe and errie at the same time.
The most attractive thing in Apetina of Suriname is the Tebu Mountain, which is about 347 m high. The mountain situated beside the Tapanahoni river create such beautiful scene that you are to get spellbound to observe it. Man Gandafutu waterfall add more charm to it.
The population of Apetina are mainly the descendants of Wayana Indians. Later on people from other places came here to settle down. It is a less populated place. So peace lover will find this place to be ideal for them.
