Jobs in Spain are usually lucrative but at the same time they are really hard to crack or get through. There is usually a job scrum with too many qualified people applying for a job. However, jobs in Spain assure the complete protection of rights and are very just and fair. From this perspective jobs in Spain are really something to lure for. Rights are specially guaranteed in any kind of jobs in Spain and the job contract contains a detailed list of the rights of the employee. There are two main kinds of contracts:
Fixed term Contract
Indefinite term Contract.
The contract however depends on the kind of job, the post one holds and obviously the Company he is working for. Most jobs in Spain provide contracts for a period of one year and 14 to 15 monthly payments are provided. This also includes the extra incentives paid during the months of Christmas or Easter.
With the termination of the service period the employee is granted a severance payment. However this payment depends on the length of the period of employment. If an employee feels that his/her contract has been terminated in an unfair way they can put forward a demand of conciliation within a period of 20days.
A
job in Spain means working for 40 hours a week and there can be overtime of at the most 3 hours a month and the
overtime , by law, cannot exceed a total of 40hours a year. The employer is entitled deduct all the
employment taxes and security taxes of the employee and submit it directly to the official departments.
