Northern Chile

Northern Chile can be said to be the most important and also the most interesting part of this beautiful South American country. What makes the Northern Chile a very interesting region is the combination of two great natural sites.

In Northern Chile on one hand there is the world's driest desert, the famous Atacama desert and on the other hand there is the Altiplano plateau. The lifestyle and culture and other activities that are governed by these two great natural sites, are many and full of variety that makes the culture of Chile much more attractive.

Northern Chile has a number of travel destinations that are the main sources of attraction in this region. Some of these are, Arica, La Serena, Copiapo, Calama and many more. Moreover, Atacama desert itself is the source of great attraction.
