Higher education in Slovenia is accorded prime importance for the intellectual and professional development of the people of Slovenia. Slovenian Higher Education is under the purview of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology. Doktorat Znanosti, Specializacija and Magisterij are the degrees received on completion of postgraduate education.
