Slovakia has a lot of mountainous land, abounding in snow covered slopes which are ideal for skiing. Jasna, located in the low Tatras, is one of the largest and best ski resorts in Europe. It is a popular destination for downhill skiing. Snowboarding is also a popular activity in Slovakia and various ski resorts have options of snowboarding for interested visitors.
