Slovakia Media improved in the years post autonomy. The separation from Czechoslovakia in 1993 proved to be an important part of th history of Slovakia. The government established three boards to look after the radio and television broadcasting,
Slovak Television Council, Slovak Radio Council and
Slovak Council for Radio and Television Broadcasting.
The radio stations of

Slovakia Radio are BBC World Service Slovak, Radio Forte, Radio Free Europe Slovak, Radio Frontinus, etc. The television broadcasting in Slovakia is provided by Slovak Television-Public, TV Markiza, etc. The use of telephones, mobiles and personal computers is also in vogue. Mobile networking is provided by companies like T Mobile and Orange Slovakia.
The print section of
Slovakia Media is quite popular. The daily newspapers of Slovakia include Hospodarske Noviny, Novy Cas, Pravda, SME, etc. The weekly newspapers and magazines also form a part of the
