Ski Wax

Ski wax is needed to make the skier 's journey on the snow even more smooth and their performance even better with unbelievable turns while on a high velocity journey. The ski wax can be dissolved by things such as benzene or gasoline . The use of ski waxing commenced in the 1860s in America by the California gold rush miners. They initially used vegetable or animal brews to accelerate their movements on the snow. These gave rise to modern ski waxes , though they actually were made from oils did not contain any wax at all.

Ski wax is primarily of two types- Grip wax and Glide wax . The grip wax is used primarily in cross country skiing and is primarily available in a few forms like kick , hairies and klister . Kick ski wax is mainly used for new, crystalline snow while the klister, a semi-liquid wax, is used on frozen as well as warm and wet snow. Grip waxing is done by using waxing irons , corks and other waxing tools. The glide waxing can be done through processes like hot waxing , hotboxing , hair dryer paste waxing and others.

Ski waxing helps the skiers to move even faster and add a bit of adventure to their journey. The waxing also helps them to take their performance level above average.
