There are three peaks in Sugar Bowl ski resort namely Mt Judah, Mt Lincoln and Mt Disney. Sugar Bowl ski resort can be accessed from all parts of United States . It can be reached from Truckee, Tahoe City, Reno, San Jose, San Francisco and Sacramento. There are free bus shuttle services all throughout the day to the ski resort.

Tourists, specially skiers gather at the resort for the excellent skiing terrain that the resort provides. Skiable area in Sugar Bowl is around 1,500 acres with 85 ski runs. Vertical rise in the resort measures to 1,500 feet. There are 12 ski lifts that transfer skiers to the main ski area from the resort. Almost 50 percent ski slopes are suitable for intermediates, while the rest is appropriate for beginners and advanced skiers. November to April is the ski-season at the resort.

Accommodation is arranged at various small hotels and chalets on the slopeside of Sugar Bowl ski resort . Other additional facilities provided by the resort include restaurants, lounges, cafes, bars, child care services, ski rentals and medical center.
