Tourists, specially skiers gather at the resort for the excellent skiing terrain that the resort provides. Skiable area in Sugar Bowl is around 1,500 acres with 85 ski runs. Vertical rise in the resort measures to 1,500 feet. There are 12 ski lifts that transfer skiers to the main ski area from the resort. Almost 50 percent ski slopes are suitable for intermediates, while the rest is appropriate for beginners and advanced skiers. November to April is the ski-season at the resort.
