Sky Valley Resort was a ski resort in the city of Georgia , United States, but was closed in the year 2005. Previously, the resort had served skiers and tourists efficiently, but with the change of management, the resort was shut down.

It proved to be a great loss for the people of Georgia , as the resort was one of the leading ski and snowboarding resort in the state. Not only limited to skiing, the resort also offered several winter sport activities.

Location of Sky Valley Resort was also convenient. It was directly to the north of the city of Dillard. The resort could also be reached from Ashville and Atlanta in the United States. A drive of two hours would take one to the resort from these two places.

Skiing in Sky Valley Resort was great fun with good snow condition and fine weather. There were 16 acres of skiable terrain which was distributed among 5 slopes. The longest run in the resort was of 2,200 feet. These ski slopes catered to all level of skiers, from beginners to experts. Vertical drop in the resort was 210 feet. Two ski lifts operated to carry skiers to the main ski area. Ski season in Sky Valley Resort spanned from December to mid-March.

Abundant chalets and townhouse rentals were available for accommodation in Sky Valley Resort . Other services provided by the ski resort included restaurants, cafes, bars, ski rentals, lounges and medical facilities.
