The Mount Creek Vernon Ski Resort is situated near Alexandria , Virginia . The resort was built in neoclassical Georgian architectural style.

Mount Creek Vernon was declared a place of historic interest in 1960 and registered with the National Register of Historic Places. It is looked after in trust by the Mount Vernon Ladies Association. This ski resort is an ideal place for family visit and an excellent one for skiers of all calibers.

The Mount Creek Vernon ski area has a top uplift of 1481 feet and the base elevation of 441 feet. The vertical drop at the resort is 1040 feet. Mount Creek Vernon encompasses 168 acres of ski area. The 46 ski trails are served by 11 lifts, which include six chair lifts, four surface lifts and one cable car. Variety of slopes and paths has made skiing in the Mount Creek Vernon Ski Resort comfortable and easy for the skiers of every caliber. Free training classes are also imparted during competitions to the participants.
