Jay Peak ski resort receives a stupendous annual snowfall of 318 inches, the highest in the Northeastern region. Jay Peak has 76 trails that cover an area of 385 acres. Most of them are meant for intermediate and experts skiers. However, there are trails which cater to needs of the beginners as well. Jay Peak also provides other exciting ways to enjoy the snow, like sled-races, sleigh rides and ice-skating.

There are many hotels, apartments and chalets that look after the accommodation of the visitors. They are all located very close to the resort, from where the resort can be approached in just ten minutes. Jay Peak is the closest Vermont ski resort from the Canadian border. It is only a half hour drive from I-91, Exit 26.
