Bromley Mountain


Bromley Mountain is a popular Alpine ski resort located six miles east of Manchester.

The fact that it is the only southern facing mountain in Vermont means that it gets a great exposure to the sun, even on those cold winter days when the days are short and dark. So much so, that sunscreens and shades remain a must even in the cold December days.

Aggressive snow-making ensures that there is enough snow in the area to facilitate great skiing. The skiing options in Bromley Mountain ski resort are varied. In the 43 trails of the resort, where the intermediates are best catered for. They use the entire central part of the mountain for exciting runs. The beginners usually crowd around the base area. The expert skiers find the eastern part of the resort very much to their liking. Bromley Mountain has a meticulously groomed 27 km. of cross-country trails. Snowmobiling and sleigh rides are other attractions of the area. The terrain parks are great places to hang out for the entire family.

Accommodation and dining options can be found in the beautiful Bromley Mountain village at the base of the mountain. For those who want a more urban experience, Manchester is full of restaurants and lodges. Londonderry is a small town on the east of Bromley Mountain . It is a great place to stay for the ones who are more inclined towards a tranquil and quiet retreat. One can easily get here from Manchester on Route 11.
