Snowmass

Snowmass is a part of the world-famous Aspen Ski Resort in Colorado in the United States of America and is one of the major ski resorts of the region.

It is one of the four resorts that make the Aspen Ski Area and is also the largest among them. The ski resort was opened in the year 1967. It stands at a height of 8104 feet at the base. It elevates up to 12510 feet at its top creating a vertical drop of an awesome 4406 feet. This helps to enhance the excitement of the skiers while on a downhill skiing adventure.

The Snowmass Ski Resort has a large ski area of 3128 acres. There are as many as 88 well maintained ski trails inside the resort. These are shaped as easy, more difficult, most difficult and expert to meet the needs of all the skiers-beginners, intermediates, advanced as well as the expert skiers. The pistes are interconnected by a system of 22 ski lifts including several lifts like gondolas, triple chairs, quads and others. There is also a snowpark where the visitors can enjoy to their heart's content.

The Snowmass Ski Resort has a number of accommodation facilities to choose from. The hotels and chalets, which provide cozy boarding, help to make the stay at the ski resort memorable.
