Powderhorn

Powderhorn is located in the province of Colorado in the United States of America .

It is a major ski resort of the province and offers favorable snow conditions along with excellent skiing facilities. At an altitude of 1200 feet at its bottom and elevates as high as 1800 feet at the top. The vertical drop of 600 feet helps to enhance the excitement while skiing downhill.

The Powderhorn Ski Resort has 250 acres of ski area which are mainly used for Alpine Skiing. There are as many as 26 ski trails within the area. The ski resort is served by a total of ten ski lifts. Of these lifts, nine are double chair lifts and the remaining one is a surface lift. The trails are designed specially as easy, difficult and most difficult routes. These are mostly used by the beginner skiers, intermediate skiers and advanced or expert skiers. There are also 17 kilometers of trails allotted as the cross country trails. The ski hiring facilities are available inside the ski resort. There is also a terrain park. Apart from skiing, the Powderhorn Ski Resort also has provisions for snowboarding.
