Loveland is one of the highest ski areas in the Colorado region in the United States of America and is also among the areas which receive the maximum amount of annual snowfall.

The ski resort offers excellent snow conditions. It has received its name from the Loveland Pass. Situated at a height of 10,600 feet at its base and elevating to an altitude of 13,010 feet, the ski resort boasts of an awesome vertical drop of 2,410 feet.

The ski area of Loveland covers an area of 1,365 acres. There are 76 ski trails which are spread across the 70 ski slopes of the resort. These slopes and the trails are interconnected by a network of 11 ski lifts. These include one drag lift and nine chair lifts. The slopes are designed such that the beginner, intermediate and expert skiers can perfect their skiing skills there. There are tickets of various prices for the admission of children and adults within the resort. The resort has a snowpark for the enjoyment of the skiers.

There are various modes of accommodations available in the Loveland Ski Resort . The numerous hotels, chalets and apartments offer cozy yet reasonable accommodation. They have made the Loveland Ski Resort one of the most coveted ski resorts of the world.
