Durango Mountain

Durango Mountain is a city located in the province of Colorado in the United States of America .

It is a major ski resort of the country and offers excellent snow conditions for skiing along the slopes of the mountain. The base of the resort is at a height of 8,793 feet while the summit touches 10,882 feet. The vertical drop of 2029 feet helps to cater the skiers with exciting downhill rides. There is a total of 75 ski slopes in the resort. The 11 ski lifts plying in the ski area link these slopes with one another. These lifts carry passengers from a height of 8792 feet to 10,822 feet.

The Durango Mountain Ski Resort has a total of 75 ski runs. These ski runs are separately shaped for the use of the beginner, intermediate advanced as well as the expert skiers. There are 85 pistes inside the ski resort . Apart from skiing, it has 16 kilometers of cross country trails. Other sports like snowboarding and snowcat skiing are also played in the resort. Ski hiring facilities are also available inside the resort.

The skiing season at the Durango Mountain Ski Resort starts in the month of November and continues till March. The hotels, lodges and apartments present there provide excellent boarding facilities and helps to make the stay at the Durango Mountain Ski Resort really awesome.
