June Mountain is located in the Inyo National Forest, in the eastern Sierra Nevada peaks. This resort lies to the north of the Mammoth ski resort . June Lake is also situated in close proximity to the resort. June Mountain can be accessed from any part of United States and California .
Skiing at June Mountain becomes a memorable experience for lifetime. Ski terrains in the resort are wonderful and cater best to intermediate skiers. There are ample ski slopes for beginners and advanced skiers too. Skiable area in the resort spreads to almost 500 acres. Vertical drop records 2,590 feet while the summit elevation is soaring high at 10,135 feet. There are 35 ski trails in the ski resort with longest run of 13,200 feet. Seven ski lifts operate to carry skiers to the main ski area.
There are numerous lodges, chalets, hotels, cottages in close proximity to June Mountain . Other facilities provided by the resort include restaurants, cafes, bars, ski rental and repair services, clubs and a medical center.
