Hoodoo Ski Resort, nestled in the Cascade Range , near the top of the Santiam pass offers good skiing opportunities when blanketed with snow during winter.

Due to its low humidity throughout the year, it offers some of the best snow conditions in the United States of America . The most convenient way to reach the resort is to take flight to any major city in Oregon such as Portland or Eugene, from where Hoodoo is just a two-hour drive. Tourists are advised to bring their recreational vehicle to the resort as free parking is available there.

The highest point of the Hoodoo Ski Resort has an elevation of 5,703 feet with a vertical drop of about 1,035 feet. There are 29 ski tracks, the longest being 5,280 feet. The ski tracks cater to skiers of all levels. The resort provides 806 acres of skiable area. The runs are served by seven lifts. These include five chairs and two rope tows. Other activities staged at the Hoodoo Ski Resort are snowboarding and night skiing. The infrastructure includes a terrain park and a tube park.
