Big Mountain Ski Resort caters the skiers with all the necessities that a world class ski resort can.

It is located amid the beauty of the snow capped mountains towards the north of Whitefish, Montana, in the United States of America . It is situated at an altitude of 4,464 feet at its base. The summit of the resort elevates up to 6,754 feet. The ski resort of Big Mountain is quite a large one. The area allotted in the ski resort for skiing is as much as 3,020 acres.

The Big Mountain Ski Resort provides its skiers with a large array of facilities. There are as many as 85 slopes and ski runs inside the resort. These are interconnected by a network of ten ski lifts including two drag lift, seven chair lifts and one cable car or bubble. The slopes have been marked separately for the beginner, intermediate and expert skiers. There is also a snowpark inside the resort for the enjoyment of the skiers. Apart from the 15 kilometers of cross-country trails, the ski resort offers snow shoeing, skidoos, sleigh rides and night skiing. There are restaurants along the pistes and ski hiring facilities are also available.

There are a number of hotels and lodges in and around the resort which are popular among the skiers for their warm hospitality. With all these facilities, the Big Mountain Ski Resort remains one of the major ski resorts of the United States of America .
