The ski area is served by four lifts which open up into 32 ski trails. Cross country skiing through the rugged Arizona terrain is a great experience. A terrain park, located on the famous 'Sunset Boulevard' is a great attraction for the tourists. Snowboarding facilities are also great.

A lovely view of the Grand Canyon, the Meteor Crater is available from the peaks. The entire area take on a special beauty in the period between mid-October to mid-November. From atop the peaks, the red and yellow glow of the fallen leaves really leave one spellbound with its astounding beauty. In the summer, it provides great retreat from the scorching Arizona heat.
