Angel Fire Resort

Angel Fire Resort is one of the major Alpine ski resorts in the United States of America .

It is located in Angel Fire in the province of New Mexico of the United States. The opening of the resort dates back to 1966 and it is still one of the best ski resorts of the country. It is situated at an altitude of 2621 metres above the sea level at its base. However, the top of the resort reaches as high as 3254 metres.

The Angel Fire Resort hosts a number of sports throughout the year. Skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, inner tubing and sleighriding are some of the sports practiced here during the winter. Mountain biking, rafting, rock climbing and others are common during the summer. The resort has 515 acres of area allotted for skiing. There are as many as 71 ski runs inside the ski resort . They have been designed accordingly for the use of the beginner, intermediate and expert skiers.
