Ventron




Ventron is a small ski resort in the eastern part of France in the Vosgienne area at a lower altitude than most of the other resorts of the area.

The forested resort provides excellent condition for skiing for the skiers from all over the world and is among their list of favorite resorts. The ski resort at Ventron has its base at an altitude of 1110 metres and has a vertical drop of 240 metres. It provides 49 acres of area for skiing. Besides, there are also 16 kilometers of skiing trails fixed for cross country skiing. These pistes are designed for separate needs of the beginner, intermediate and advance skiers.

The skiers at the Ventron Ski Resort are provided with a number of amenities. There are eight ski lifts to carry the skiers to their favorite skiing locations. Of these lifts, seven are surface lifts and one is chair lift. There are seven restaurants placed along the trails. The skiers also have the option of hiring the skis, apparels and other skiing equipments at the resort. Apart from skiing, the resort also holds snow shoeing activities.

The Ventron Ski Resort does not have very well-maintained lodging facilities. There is a single hotel, the H'tel Les Bruyeres, which offer a number of added amenities. With all these, the Ventron Ski Resort , though still a small one, is taking the shape of one of the most important ski resorts of the country.
