Super Besse

Super Besse is a dynamic ski resort in France with wonderful surroundings and exceptional landscape features.

Super Besse ski resort is located in the Monts D'Auvergne area of the Puy de Dome department in the Massif Central region. It also forms an integral part of the Mont Dore- Super Besse ski domain. The nearest airport to the ski resort is Clermont Ferrand , from where buses or car hires can be taken to the resort directly. Most convenient railway station from the resort is the TGV Station at Clermont Ferrand .

Skiing is Super Besse can be a wonderful experience with 25 slopes with the longest run of 20 kilometers. Total piste length in the resort is about 45 kilometers. There are also 120 kilometers of cross-country trails. Twenty-two ski lifts operate in Super Besse to carry tourists from the resort to the ski area. November to April is the ski season in the resort. Most of the slopes are suitable for beginners followed by intermediate skiers.

Accommodation in the ski resort can be arranged at several small hotels, chalets and rented apartments. Additional facilities provided by Super Besse are restaurants, bars, cafes, indoor swimming pool, crèche for kids and ski rentals.
