Orcieres Merlette Ski Resort is emerging as one of the best ski resorts of France. The resort is situated at an altitude of 1,850 meters with the highest point at 2,750 meters.
Orcieres Merlette encompasses various ski runs of different difficulty levels. There are nine green, 19 red, six black and 10 blue ski runs. The ski tracks sum up to a length of about 100 kilometers. The pistes are well connected by 29 ski lifts, which carry skiers to the higher parts of mountains.
