Gourette

The Gourette ski resort is located at the Aspe-Ossau area in the Pyreness Atlantique part of the Pyreness region.

It is one of the small ski resorts in France . Gourette is an ideal place both for beginners and intermediates. The resort encompasses has 29 pistes, which can be directly accessed to 31km of downhill skiing. There is also a cross country path of 20 km length.

There are 21 ski lifts covering the area between 1400m and 2400m, ski runs of the length of 30 km is situated. The ski lift system consists of five chair lifts, five plate lifts and two gondolas. The ski slopes are differentiated for skiers of varying caliber. Gourette ski resort also has snow cannon facility, where 60 cannons have been installed. The best time to visit the place is from December to April.
