Gudauri

The best way to reach the resort is to fly to the Georgian capital, Tbilisi and then to take a shuttle bus or a car from there directly to the resort. The trip usually takes two hours.

Skiing facilities in Gudauri ski resort are fantastic. With deep snow cover, the slopes are best for free-riders as there are no risks of avalanches. The slopes are well-groomed and attract skiers of all abilities though experts of skiing can have a wonderful experience. Various skiing items like slalom, giant-slalom, super and speed skiing along with off-piste skiing can be practiced in the resort. Ski lifts are numerous and the highest lift takes to an altitude of 3007 meters. Ski season in Gudauri spans from December till mid-April.
