Chatel




Chatel is a ski resort located in the village of the same name in the Haute-Savoie Department of France . It is one of the many resorts, which are linked with the Portes du Soleil.

Located at an altitude of 1200 metres above the sea level, the Chatel Ski Resort is also linked to a few other resorts like Abondance, Champery, Morgins and others. The resort has as many as 49 slopes within its periphery. Of the 49 ski lifts that serve the Chatel Ski Resort , 23 are drag lifts, 13 are chair lifts and two are cable cars and bubbles. There are also 27 snow cannons always ready to ensure snow in the resort, even in case of a lack of snowfall.

The Chatel Ski Resort has its skiing season from the month of December to April. The visitors are provided with a number of amenities while at the ski resort at Chatel . There are several good eating places and also a number of ski schools where the amateur skiers can take up a few skiing tricks from well-trained instructors. There are also facilities for hiring skis, apparels and other skiing equipments.
