Vemdalen

Vemdalen ski resort is located in central Sweden , encompassing well-renowned ski-areas.

Considered to be one of the smaller ski resorts in Sweden , Vemdalen caters to all the requirements of a standard ski resort. Skiing experience in the resort is heavenly. Located at a distance of 500 kilometers from Stockholm, Vemdalen is located in central Sweden. With 51 runs in totality, the ski resort has three ski areas. The slopes are long and undulating with varied skiing features, mostly suitable for intermediate skiers. There is 70 kilometers of maintained Nordic track with 30 ski lifts to reach the three ski areas. Ski season in Vemdalen begins in late-November and continues till April. Ski accommodation in the resort is offered in various hotels, chalets and rented apartments. There are many restaurants, bars and cafes near Vemdalen offering typical Swedish cuisine as well as continental dishes. Other activities in Vemdalen ski resort include snowmobile safaris, ice-fishing and dog-sledging.
