Valdelinares is a small Spanish ski resort located near the town of Teruel . The resort, situated at a height of 1700 metres above sea level, hosts a crowd of skiers during the winter.
The Valdelinares Ski Resort has separate pistes for the beginners and the intermediate skiers. The length of the well groomed and maintained pistes add up to 6.5 kilometers. Besides, there are also 7 kilometers of cross country runs. The eight slopes in the whole area of the resort are connected by eight lifts. There are also 100 snow cannons to ensure snow throughout the season. Most of the terrain is shaped to assist the beginner skiers in learning the fundamentals of skiing and for the intermediate skiers to practice. The skis and the other necessary equipments can be hired from inside the resort.
The accommodation in the small resort of Valdelinares is limited. However, one can find a few better options in the nearby village which has the same name as the resort. The Alcala de la Selva is the nearest hotel centre at a distance of 35 kilometers from Valdelinares . There are also several self-catering apartments which can be easily availed. They offer comforts of living at a cheaper cost. Though Valdelinares is smaller than most of the other ski resorts of Spain, yet it is a favorite among skiers who love to enjoy their skiing in a serene atmosphere.
