Ustron

Ustron is situated in the southern part of Poland, which is considered to be one of the major ski destinations of the country. Located in the Podbeskidzie region, the town is also regarded as the only health resort town of Poland. Ustron surrounded by Wielka Czantoria, Lipowski Gron, Rownica and Mala Czantoria is a very beautiful place appealing to the visitors. Though a health resort town, for a long time Ustron has been visited by groups of skiers. Numerous winter sports are held in the town every year.

Ustron, situated high on mountains of Poland, is the excellent place for any kind of adventure sports. Apart from skiing, other sports staged in the area are climbing, cycling, dog sledding, hiking and many more. There is a chair lift system from the Ustron resort to the Czantoria top, from where toboggan run can be enjoyed. There are numerous ski slopes on the higher parts of the mountains, where skiers can enjoy the activity alike. The upper parts of the ski slopes are accessible by numerous ski lifts available at the Ustron ski resort. Some of the slopes are artificially lit, where the activity can be performed at night. At the resort, some slopes have artificial snowing facility, which gives the skiers a chance of enjoying the activity all round the year.

Accommodation at the Ustron ski resort is available in hotels, apartments, cabins and motels. Ski rental, first aid facility, ski patrol and other services related to the sport are offered by the resort authority at Ustron.
