Trysil is considered to be one of the largest skiing facilities available in Norway . A municipality and city of the country, Trysil is situated in the Hedmark County in the eastern part of Norway .
The Trysil ski resort encompasses ski trails of total length of 70 kilometers, which wind at a drop of 672 meters. The longest trail runs through 3.4 miles. The skiing season at Trysil stretches between November and May. Located at a distance of 2.5 hour's drive from Oslo, the resort is easily accessible. There are 31 ski lifts in Trysil , which are used for carrying skiers and other tourists to the summit from base. There are nine specially built lifts for children. The ski trails or pistes at the resort attract skiers of every caliber. Anyone can try the activity on the mountain slope in Trysil .
