Stoten

Stoten is one of the largest ski resorts in Sweden . The resort is surrounded by natural greenery and water bodies to provide a picaresque sight to the tourists.

Stoten is located in Salen and the resort is considered to be the best in the region. From the inception of Stoten ski resort , the intention of the owners was to make the resort the best place for skiing in Sweden. Sweden is a wonderful country for skiing activity and winter sports. Tourists from all over the world gather at the various ski resorts to enjoy a pleasurable skiing experience in the exotic mountains. Ski terrains and slopes in most of the ski resorts in Sweden are suitable for skiers at beginner and intermediate level.

Stoten ski resort is at a distance of more than 400 kilometers from Stockholm and can be reached via train. Many skiers and tourists have graded the resort as the best place in the entire Salen region as well as in whole Dalarna County. The ski slopes in Stoten can be accessed by 17 ski lifts in the form of two chairlifts, seven plate lifts and eight t-lifts. Ski season in the resort commences from December and continues till April. Accommodation in the ski resort is arranged in various hotels, chalets and cabins. Additional facilities in Stoten ski resort include swimming pool, sauna, bars, good restaurants and a spa. Snowboarding is also practiced at the resort.
