Spindleruv Mlyn

Spindleruv Mlyn can easily be called as the pearl of Czech ski resorts as it is the largest skiing area in the Czech Republic.

The ski resort is situated in the Krkonose Mountains, about 715-1310 meters above sea-level. Krkonose Mountains offer variety of services to the tourists in almost all seasons. During summer, people can take leisurely walks down the deep gorgeous valleys, while winter brings in wide array of winter sports including skiing. A beautiful picaresque view of the lofty mountains and green valleys can be seen from Spindleruv Mlyn ski resort . Fair conditions for winter hiking and cross-country skiing are found in the resort and also in its vicinity.

Spindleruv Mlyn is a very conveniently located ski resort. It takes merely 1.5 hours to reach the resort from the Czech capital Prague. Buses are operated to the ski resort from all over Czech Republic and car services also operate from Prague to Spindleruv Mlyn . The ski resort has three ski areas namely Sv.Petr, Medvedin and Misecky and comprises 20 downhill slopes. The slopes are well maintained and enhanced with 16 ski lifts in the form of chairlifts, quad chairlifts and t-bars. The ski season spans from December to April. Accommodation facilities in Spindleruv Mlyn are ample and affordable. Other facilities in the ski resort include restaurants, bars, discos, fitness centers, swimming pools, sauna, tennis courts, car rentals, ski equipment rentals, ski and snowboard schools and boats for rent along with fishing.
