Sjusjoen is one of the most popular ski destinations of Norway . The Sjusjoen ski resort lies amidst forest and mountain terrain in the eastern part of the country.

The place, situated at a distance of 20 kilometers from Lillehammer, lies within the Ringsaker municipality in the Hedmark County . Sjusjoen is recognized as the largest cross country skiing terrain of the world during winter. Hedmarksvidda is the mountain plateau located to the south of the place, which is considered to be one of the popular ski areas of the country.

The Sjusjoen ski resort encompasses 350 kilometer long ski trails, which wind the mountain at the drop of 245 meters.
