Sella Nevea

Sella Nevea , a high mountain pass, is located in the beautiful settings of Friuli Giulia in Italy .

From being an agricultural area, it has evolved after the First World War into a major ski resort. Though the ski resort was started in 1970 on a high note, a number of avalanches in the area in 1976 put a question mark to the safety of the resort. In spite of this, Sella Nevea developed from its rubbles to be one of the most important ski resorts of Italy. However, it was not until the 2000s that it came to be known as a major skiing location of Europe.

With the elevation of 1180 metres, Sella Nevea has brilliant skiing conditions. The trail is divided separately for the beginner, intermediate and the advance skiers. The skiing season in the resort lasts from the end of September to the month of May. The resort hosts several competitive events of snow sports like the super G, FIS championships, giant slalom and others.
