Savognin in Switzerland was made famous by the Italian painter Giovanni Segantia.
Savognin Ski Resort homes extra wide slopes, which are around 200 meters wide. The length of the ski track is eight kilometers. The ski runs at the resort are supported by 15 lifts. The longest six-sitter chair lift of Switzerland is situated here. The lifts can carry skiers and the equipments to the upper parts of mountains at an altitude of 2,173 meters.
