Ruka ski resort can provide experience of a lifetime since the place is directly under the influence of Arctic Circle.

There are total 28 runs in Ruka , out of which 14 are suitable for intermediates, 10 for beginners and 4 for advanced skiers. 18 ski lifts, out of which 4 are chairlifts, are operated from the resort to carry skiers to the ski area. The ski resort also provides tuition at Ruka Ski School by skilled professional skiers in alpine skiing, snowboarding and telemarking. Accommodation standards in Ruka are high and are available in various hotels, rented apartments and chalets. Other facilities provided by Ruka ski resort authority are various restaurants, cafes, sauna, swimming pools, club music and discos.
