Nevis Range

The resort is located at the highest point in Scotland and is the most sought after place for snow-sport lovers and sightseeing enthusiasts. Nevis Range ski resort is almost equivalent to an alpine resort. The resort arranges for skiing activities along with rock climbing, long walks and other winter sports events. The ski resort can be accessed by a six-seater gondola.

Nevis Range is located at a distance of 11 kilometers from Fort William , in the heart of the Scottish Highlands , on the top of Aonach Mor. The airports from where the resort can be reached are Inverness, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Various types of conveyances are available to the resort. The ski terrains and runs in Nevis Range are excellent for skiers of all abilities. There are 26 ski slopes in the resort, which can be accessed by 12 ski lifts, out of which few are chairlifts, surface lifts and gondolas. The ski season in the ski resort is short spanning from December to March. There is no slope side accommodation facility but there are numerous hotels, apartments and rented houses in Fort William . The resort has two restaurants and bars as additional facilities. There are also ski equipment rentals and a ski and snowboard school in Nevis Range .
