Montafon

Montafon valley is a bit remote but exciting ski area with eleven fantastic ski resorts. With its beautiful slopes, the area offers two alternative ski venues .

It is the ideal place for different winter sport activities like mono skiing, snow trekking, sleigh riding etc. Apart from these, the usual skiing and snowboarding is always there. Sixteen miles long trail around the frozen lake accounts to exciting cross country races. Twelve kilometers of mountain hiking trails provides to excellent hiking opportunities.

Montafon valley is extremely well connected with thirty three lifts, chair lifts, T-bars and gondolas. The lifts have the capacity of carrying 40000 people per hour. The vast ski area suits skiers from all levels be it beginners, intermediates or experts. The valley is located at an altitude of 655 to 1425 meters above sea level and has good snow reliability. The summer in the Montafon valley is equally exciting with loads of varied activities.
