Livigno

Livigno is one of the major skiing locations in Italy as well as in the whole of Europe. The resort is regularly visited by tourists and skiers who are mainly from Toronto and London.

The resort is located at a height of 1815 metres and as a result the skiers can find excellent quality of snow there which facilitates skiing a lot. There are scopes for the beginner, intermediate and expert skiers to practice skiing in separate slopes there.

From a farming community, the small town of Livigno has developed into an important skiing destination in Italy . The 110 kilometers of ski runs in the resort is served by a total of 33 ski lifts of which there are 16 drag lifts, 14 chair lifts and 3 cable cars and bubbles. The lowest lift is at a height of 1800 metres. The resort also has 40 kilometers of cross country skiing trails.

At the Livigno Ski Resort , the skiers have a large number of options to board in. There are the hotels like San Giovanni, Galli and others along with the Bellavista chalet. There are also a large number of apartments and self-catering facilities like Faustos, Casa Longa and others. The skiing facilities along with the hospitality available in the town bring a large number of skiers every year to Livigno.
